Mom's playing some inane Facebook game where the objects that she is searching for bear no resemblance to the images on the screen.  Thus the post title.... Probably the last Star Wars reference of the day, many apologies in advance.

I am desperately searching for employment, meaningful or otherwise, here in the north woods of Michigan.  I am less than enthused thus far with the choices that I have found, but am soldiering on anyway for the sake of my grandmother.  Granted, she doesn't know where she is or what day it is, but she would miss me terribly if I were to suddenly disappear to go do something horrible like get a job.

There also seems to be a bout of laryngitis/strep throat/all sorts of nastiness galloping about the land.  So far, I have managed to elude the little bastard germs - they had best not get any crazy ideas.  I have vitamin C and I am NOT afraid to use it.

Respect out to Margaret and Helen, who are back in full force this year, and just in time for the GOP debacle, I mean primary rampage.  Everybody is getting so farking politically correct nowadays, they are afraid to offend the establishment.  BAH!  Go old ladies, tell it like it is!!!!

Anywho... Must figure out the rest of the evening.  With any luck, it will involve Doctor Who :-)

The Stupid, It Hurts....

Ok, so I know that I shouldn't pick on the intellectually challenged... but I loaned my copy of V for Vendetta to a guy down the street several days ago because he said he wanted a movie that had a message.  He called yesterday and asked if he could keep it awhile longer - no problem just don't call before noon, seriously.  He ran into Mom at the Post Office today.  He loved it, but has had to watch it several times because he still doesn't quite get it.

Apparently the iPhone does not do punctuation and could potentially be problematic as I hate editing but we shall see how this goes
